Emily Knothe is our Staff of the Month for January!
Emily is doing a great job balancing school and work! She shows up for her scheduled shifts and engages with the residents. Emily is flexible with the needs of the Youth Home and is able to help out when needed. Emily attends staff meetings and is always engaged; participating and offering suggestions with how to help the resident’s meet their goals.
Emily has maintained consistency with the residents, ensuring that unit rules are followed. She also makes an effort to find creative ways to motivate residents.
Over the past quarter Emily has dealt with a few resident crises on her own, and handled them and herself in a professional and caring manner.
Finally, she is the reigning master of Word of the Day: Wabi Sabi
