Whodunit?!

The Examination Scenario

The group has returned to the wine vaults with a flashlight. In the light, they can see the many meandering paths formed by the stacked oak barrels of wine and almost get lost. Coming upon the body, they confirm that it is, in fact, Elizabeth Killingsworth, and can immediately see the cause of her death. A golden corkscrew juts from the right side of her neck. There appears to be something inscribed on the corkscrew, but the pool of blood prevents them from getting close enough to the body for closer inspection.

The sight of Elizabeth’s body is too gruesome for some of the guests and they decide to return, once again, to the main house to ponder these new clues.

Dr. Barren looked at the clock in the wine vaults. It stopped when the power went out at 6:45 PM. Where was everybody? Who was the last person to see Elizabeth Killingsworth alive? She last saw Elizabeth at 3:45 PM when they had a brief conversation in the farmhouse about her upcoming novel. Dr. Barren left Elizabeth, went home, and called her publisher.

At 5:30 PM, Dr. Barren was swimming in her pool when she saw Enrique Graves and Vicki D’Adly in the rose garden. By the time she got out of the pool to find out what was going on, Vicki had left.

About 6:45 PM, Dr. Barren saw Vicki D’Adly heading toward the wine vault. She noticed that Vicki was wearing a different outfit than she had been that afternoon. Dr. Barren also noticed that Kathryn Lawless was sitting on the back porch of Killingsworth farmhouse watching, but Dr. Barren followed Vicki into the wine vault anyway. She trailed Vicki as she made her way through the labyrinth of halls never letting her out of sight…

Enrique last saw Elizabeth Killingsworth alive around 5:30 PM while they were taking a break. Elizabeth was heading into the wine vaults with Michael Nightshade.

At 6:30 PM, Enrique went to the wine vault to work on the short in the wiring. He was sure that he turned off the electricity, but at about 6:45 PM he was shocked by a jolt of electricity that knocked him unconscious for the next quarter of an hour. The jolt of electricity must have shorted out the lights in the wine vault.
