Paris Moore
Paris demonstrates a strong desire to support his team, and repeatedly supports and demonstrates consistency and teamwork through his daily work. He has been very involved in reviewing, confirming and re-implementing policies and structural expectations that may not have been being followed. He is a support not only to his direct team, but also to the clinical team.
Paris has been a positive member of the Residential team for years. Paris has a number of skills and strengths when working with the youth served at residential but also serves as a mentor and role model for staff on a regular basis. Paris is passionate about ensuring the best care for residents and ensures the team is working to serve that youth to the best of their ability. Paris has a unique way of motivating residents that has proven powerful and effective. Both staff and residents are excited when he is working—which speaks volumes!
Paris has been able to build wonderful rapport with each kid on the unit. Paris is able to verbally de-escalate most situations and rarely needs to use CPI holds when there are crises. Paris is consistent with his expectations with each kid and holds them accountable for their behaviors. He processes and talks with each kid in a respectful way and in return many kids listen and follow Paris’ expectations. Paris follows unit rules and procedures and is able to communicate his ideas with team members. I truly enjoy watching Paris interact with all kids because it is evident he cares about them and they have a mutual respect for each other. Paris is an integral part of our team!
