Hollyann Niemiec is our Staff of the Month for March!
Holly has been nominated for staff of the month many times during her employment at the Youth Home. She has an un-wavering sunny disposition, even when working with difficult clients or situations.
Holly has shown significant growth over the last three months in her position as a direct care staff. She has begun taking on more of a leadership role when she is on shift; taking initiative when need be. Holly has also become more confident in handling crisis situations with residents and is able to successfully use de-escalation techniques.
Holly ensures consistency on the unit, both from other staff as well as the residents. If she is unsure how to proceed with something, she isn’t afraid to ask for clarification.
Holly is an advocate for the clients. She is a consistent mentor, even when she is busy with school and other outside responsibilities. Holly recently started a mental health group for the residents, and participation has been going well.
She is an active participant in every staff meeting, and is diligent with completing all documentation!
