Update on Level 5

Almost one month ago, we advised FCC employees that we were opening our Level 5 house, a shift staffed Foster Home for youth with intense special needs.  The home was opened on a temporary and conditional license from the state until September 30, 2016.  The expectation was that FCC would be fully staffed and trained so as to be fully operational without utilizing our collaborative partners.  Staffing remains a challenge not only for FCC but also within the region, especially when trying to find employees wanting to work with a high end population in a 24/7 facility.  To that end, we have advised the State and County that we will be discontinuing  operations in this home as we were unable to fulfill the conditions of the temporary license.

If you have any questions, feel free to talk to Tita or any member of senior leadership.
