This awareness event will support The Other Door drop in center at Vernon County. Drop-in centers are designed to provide positive social networking opportunities, particularly for people needing support for their recovery from mental illness or substance addiction. The Other Door, grew from local residents’ desire to provide alternative places to socialize. Drop-in centers can be considered a “first step” for those considering recovery—The Other Door is a place for people beginning to rebuild their lives.
