Survey Reminder

Have you competed your survey yet? The original post is included below, along with a link to the survey. The deadline is this Friday so make sure you are included!

When it is summer you know it is time for our annual survey. Even if the change in weather is still questionable, the 2019 survey is ready for you.

Here are some important pieces for you:

  • We shortened the survey from 51 questions to 27. I feel we have kept the more important aspects while reducing the amount of time it will take.
  • Our most valuable source of insight about the employment experience is YOU – whether you just got here or have been here 10 years your input is key to this process.
  • Individual answers are anonymous – comments are an important component of this project but we won’t know who contributed them.
  • Your feedback is important to this process and the agency. For example, based on survey comments:
    • we started the open Senior Leadership Team meetings two times in the past year.
    • there is broader participation in strategic projects like the Weston subcommittee
    • efforts have been made to strengthen the overall leadership team, including utilizing external presenters, and
    • we worked to improve site visibility of the Senior Management Team beyond GVC.
  • Finally, we want to see our response rate – and your involvement – grow. Last year the rate was 57%, and with your help we are hoping it will be even higher this year!

 

The link below will take you to this year’s on-line survey. This year there are only 27 questions, and most of them are multiple choice. Some others are open-ended questions. All of them, however, include an opportunity to include your comments regarding the question at hand or your answer.  I encourage you to make good use of the “comments” opportunities – the background provided really helps us better understand the ratings.
