It’s that time of the year when spring is meeting the beginning of summer and the temperatures outside fluctuate. This period of time between heating and cooling in FCC owned buildings is always a bit tricky. The questions we ponder as I presume you all do in your own homes is when to turn off the heat and when to turn on the air conditioner. The process in an old building is different than in most of your homes…it’s not a simple matter of flipping a switch. It can take a fair bit of work to transition from heating to cooling and vice versa so we hope to do it once each season.
We try to ensure a comfortable working environment in all of our buildings, for both clients and staff. As you can imagine everyone’s comfort level looks and feels different. So…I am asking for all of your patience and understanding as we navigate the spring/summer bubble. We are not turning on the air conditioning at this point in any of our FCC owned properties. We will be watching the weather conditions outside closely. Feel free to open windows, close blinds and/or utilize fans to keep yourself comfortable. I appreciate your understanding on this matter.
