The countdown clock will remind you that we have a site visit for our reaccreditation starting next Monday, June 1 and will go through Wednesday, June 3. We will host 4 reviewers who will conducting interviews with many of our staff members and clients, touring our work sites and even talking with our board chair and treasurer! Their work will actually begin Sunday afternoon, May 31 when a couple of the reviewers will gather at our Monitor street location to review employee and client files. First thing Monday morning things really get going with what is called an entrance meeting with the senior team and from there it is a whirlwind of activity until they wrap up the site visit on Wednesday.
A number of you may have been asked to participate in an interview, and if so we will be in touch to provide some guidance to you so you are prepped and ready. If you are not being interviewed you can still play an important part by making sure our work areas are as clean and squared away as they have ever been. If you see new faces during the site visit feel free to say hello – the people we are hosting are peer reviewers so they are very familiar with the work we do and the clients we serve.
The reaccreditation is an important process for us – it helps assure we are staying current and that we operating great programs. We usually learn some things about ourselves and our operation, however we also want to make sure we are putting FCC in the best possible light.
