Paycheck Protection Plan Update – ends this week

The agency applied for, and was awarded, a Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) loan as part of the economic stimulus solutions established by the federal government early in the pandemic. Through the funds made available by the PPP we have been able to provide ongoing income in a number of programs and situations, as well providing additional hazard pay to those working directly with clients. We also provided a one-time exceptional compensation payment to all employees of the agency with more than 30 days of service.

On Saturday, August 15 we will have exhausted the economic stimulus funds we received and will discontinue hazard pay to employees, and COVID PPP.  We have asked our Directors to assure the wage expense in their programs is in line with the revenue being generated, and if potential changes could affect you your supervisor will communicate that directly with you.

The Families First Coronavirus Relief Act (FFCRA) will continue through the end of the year, and the specific qualifying factors of that plan will not change. Those qualifying for that plan are still required to complete that form (available in the Forms section of The Depot) and must make sure to communicate those circumstances to their supervisor.

Finally, remote work will still be supported, along with other related protocols. Again, it will be important to have a conversation with your supervisor about work as well as your personal circumstances.

As always, thank you so much for your continued support as we work our way through the pandemic. We will get through this as a team!
