Join our team as the Intake Specialist at Family & Children’s Center! This position is responsible for all aspects of office support and administrative and for processing intakes for the programs.
As the Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- accurately managing and entering non-clinical data into the agencies electronic health records system, to include insurance information;
- obtaining and processing referrals in a timely manner;
- ensuring intake paperwork is obtained;
- providing customer service to clients as they enter the building;
- answering phones, manage and schedule appointments as needed;
- ensuring all client files are maintained in accordance with standards;
- ensuring files are kept up to date on required authorizations, verifications, renewals and notifications;
- data entry; and,
- coordinating all aspects of the general office management to ensure front office runs smoothly
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service and receptionist experience preferred. Experience working with customers in emotional distress and ability to remain calm during difficult situations.
As a CSP Mental Health Technician, you will provide comprehensive Mental Health services and support to CSP clients as assigned. Make a difference in our community while working in a supportive Team Environment.
What are the primary responsibilities of this Mental Health Technician position?
Provide comprehensive mental health services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness in the Community Support Program (CSP).
Provide supportive contacts to CSP clients as assigned. During such contacts, provide education and assistance to clients in developing independent living skills (i.e. cleaning, hygiene, cooking, shopping, money management, social skills, attending medical appointments). This includes providing transportation or assistance setting up transportation as needed.
Conduct daily evening medication delivery/client check ins as needed. This includes weekends and holidays. This also includes daily evening visit/check-in of the CSP Iris House and maintaining communication with CSP on-call during after hours and weekends/holidays to report any concerns or unusual events.
Collaborate with CSP Case Management Staff related to client treatment needs. This includes attending staffing meetings during scheduled shifts.
Provide fill-in or flexible coverage as requested by the CSP supervisor. This includes weekend/holiday morning/evening medication delivery and leading CSP group(s). Other duties may be assigned based on program needs.

Requirements
Minimum of high school diploma or the equivalent
Experience working with adults with severe mental illness preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older
