As a Direct Care Staff at the Other Door in Viroqua, you will be responsible for providing programming and information on substance use and mental health recovery.
What are the primary responsibilities of this direct care position?
- Provide attendees with information about recovery and mental health resources
- Provide programming to promote socialization, including but not limited to:
- employment/job seeking skills, educational, self-help, or daily living programs covering a range of topics designed to enhance recovery efforts.
- Movie, game and pizza nights, and holiday parties
- Monitor usage of the center ensuring safety of guests.
- Monitor use of the meditation room, art room, and kitchen, comfortable lounge with television, and meeting rooms for mental health recovery and 12-step groups.
