While searching for the missing Elizabeth, Norman entered her bedroom and found a small shrine dedicated to her late husband Robert. One particular article caught his attention.

While bird watching at 12:45 PM, Norman noticed Enrique Graves stalking around. Enrique seemed to be secretly observing something. Norman did not want to pry, so he continued walking.

Norman gave Michael Nightshade his resume and told him of his background in real estate. Michael told Norman that the company was not hiring as the market was down. Norman found this odd because he had heard the opposite – that the housing market is booming right now.

Norman has been having a rough marital time with Vicki. He woke up early and went into town to buy her a silver charm bracelet to get back into her good graces.

At 10:30 AM, Norman gave Elizabeth an engraved corkscrew as a gift for her hospitality to him and Vicki during their vacation.

Newspaper article that caught Norman’s eye, dated six months ago:
Man Whose Body Found in Lake Identified
Marcocain police have identified the man found floating in Friedmont Mill Lake last week as Robert Killingsworth, 41, a Vineyard and Winery owner from Marcocain.
Killingsworth’s body was identified through his fingerprints, said homicide Detective Michael Noall. He said Killingsworth’s body was found April 21st at 1:30 p.m. by boaters. An autopsy determined he died from blunt head trauma. Killingsworth lived and worked at Killingsworth Farm Vineyard and Winery off Route 41 in Marcocain, where he was last seen two weeks ago. Detective Noall said Robert’s wife, Elizabeth Killingsworth, reported her husband’s disappearance to police after he failed to meet her in town for dinner. An officer in the missing persons detail matched fingerprints on file with those of Killingsworth’s body, Noall said. Anyone with information about Killingsworth’s death is encouraged to contact the Marcocain Police Department. Elizabeth Killingsworth is offering a $10,000 reward for information.

Norman D’Adly was not in bed when Vici woke up and she did not see him again until that afternoon. This was fine with her as she enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Vicki heard that Dr. Chelsea Barren is writing a novel about a man who was bludgeoned to death and dumped into a lake. The murder goes unsolved. The plot line sounds vaguely familiar. Vicki wonders which of the suspects Dr. Barren believes is the killer.

Vicki did not know that Robert Killingsworth had died before this visit. Apparently Elizabeth still had not forgiven Vicki for marrying her high school sweetheart and did not want to see her. Vicki wondered if Elizabeth wanted Vicki out of her life for good.

Vicki met Elizabeth for a private breakfast this morning around 9:30 AM. Vicki mentioned that her & Norman were having some financial difficulties and asked Elizabeth for help. Elizabeth, however, was financially strapped, as Robert had no life insurance when he died.
