Kersten Meyer Mental Health Technician, CSP La Crosse
Kersten comes from New Albin, IA and she knows the meat market people. If you are not sure what that means just ask her! She has a strong background working in a helping role – she has worked at Lutheran Social Services and Chileda, and has experience going into client homes to provide services. Kersten is the proud mom of two dogs and looks forward to visiting family in Florida a couple times each year. And yes, we put in a request to bring back some nice weather!
Darik Anderson Program Supervisor, Safe Visitation
Darik recently moved to the Rushford, MN area and found her FCC gig through Indeed. She was able to see first-hand the effects of living with chemical dependency and abuse, and has been committed to helping those dealing with these things. Darik was even a Trauma Foster Parent prior to her move to the area. She is enjoying the farm life with her significant other and 4 kids. She is Cherokee and loves to cook ethnic food, one of her most popular dishes is fried beans. Darik tells us it may not sound great but everyone raves about it!
Zandra Gennrich Mental Health Technician, CSP La Crosse
Zandra was referred by Sami I (way to go, Sami!) and is originally from La Crosse but has also spent some time in Madison. Although she had never heard of FCC, she tells us that as the product of domestic abuse she realized she wanted to help others. Zandra has had experience supporting physical well-being and is looking forward to working on the behavioral health side. In addition to a chance to learn she looks forward to seeing progress – both small and large. Zandra is a Burn Boot Camp veteran, and can feel how it makes her stronger. She does, however, treat herself to steak, potato and salad when she splurges!
Alyssa Waters Monitor, Safe Visitation
You may not be able to tell by looking at her, but Alyssa is a Spam girl. That’s right, she is from Austin, MN, but she is NOT a fan of the canned meat product. Just as well, more for others! Alyssa had seen our ad on Indeed, but also heard positive things from her program at Winona State where she is studying Psychology and Child Advocacy. She liked what she heard, and was especially pleased to learn the range of services provided by FCC. When not working Alyssa enjoys cleaning. You read that right – enjoys cleaning! She has detailed cars and lately has been cleaning homes.
