May is Mental Health and Foster Care Awareness Month

Coming up just around the corner — May is Mental Health Month &  Foster Care Awareness Month, both central to our mission—We invite all staff to help us celebrate and recognize the incredible work we do everyday to improve the well-being of the community and in finding safe & happy homes for kids!

Join us to support these great causes!

May 1-4: Mental Health Awareness
Wear Green!

Green is the color for Mental Health Month. Sport it up in green!  Here are some ideas you might implement to improve your own mental health.  See the link below for the mental health checklist. May 7-11: Mental Health Awareness

Watch for mental health crossword puzzle on the Depot during the week of May 7th.
Contestants should mail their completed puzzle to the Development Office no later than May 25th for a chance to win a Kwik Trip Gift Card.

May 14-18:  Foster Care Awareness
Wear Blue!

Blue is the color for Foster Care Awareness. Change up your wardrobe and bring out those baby blues (or any eye color will do!)

May 21-31

Participate in the 7th Annual Mental Wellness walk on May 24, 2018 – beginning at noon at City Hall until 1:00 p.m.

Watch for the invisible suitcase activity on the Depot to wrap up the month!
