Make an even bigger impact: staff can now become Host Homes!

Have you ever thought about helping youth in the community who could use a little extra support, but weren’t sure how? Or, ever wanted to be able to serve the youth in FCC programs outside of the one you work in, but don’t know where to start? If so, we’re looking for you!

FCC staff are now eligible to become Host Homes for homeless/displaced youth in our community! This is a huge opportunity to make the difference in the life of a child or young adult, who really needs a safe and stable place to live to work on their goals and achieve their dreams.

Over 200 students in La Crosse county reported being displaced or homeless last year. This is a large number and we’re looking to reach out to those youth who might be couch surfing at a friends or just don’t have a place to go.

Check out the flier for general details and contact Darren Dannhoff in Host Homes to learn more about how to become a staff Host at ddanhoff@fccnetwork.org or GVC extension 313.
