IPS Supported Employment Program receives exemplary rating

Congratulations to the IPS Supported Employment team: Louise Campbell, Matt Nundahl, Sheila Juricic, Shawn Patton, and Casey Denzine.  IPS recently received an exemplary rating on its annual fidelity review!

Since IPS is an evidence based supported employment model, fidelity reviews are conducted annually. These are conducted in order to determine the program’s level of implementation of the IPS model. Higher levels of implementation/fidelity are correlated with better employment outcomes.

The reviewers are made up of the state IPS trainer as well as staff from DHS (Dept of Health Services) and DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation). They take 3 days to observe the staffings in all 3 counties, review notes and charting from the past year, and interview our staff, clients, case managers, and county and DVR personnel.

They then take those findings and translate them into the fidelity report. Last year FCC’s IPS team received exemplary results and were able to hit that mark again this year.  FCC’s IPS program is currently the only IPS site in WI to have exemplary fidelity.  Great job!
