Please join us in a year-long celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Healthy Families program at Family & Children’s Center!
Family & Children’s Center started the Healthy Families program in La Crosse in 1992—championed by former FCC President/CEO, John Burgess. The program is designed to keep kids safe and strengthen families by helping new parents under extreme stress work on goals, learn child development and address their health concerns. It is one of FCC’s premier child abuse and neglect prevention programs and continues to be an outstanding program for involved participants.
You will see events throughout the next year that commemorate this special occasion. If you see the Healthy Families team, congratulate them on the good work they are continuing to provide. Healthy Families at FCC has been laying a strong foundation of roots throughout the community for 25 years and will continue to do so for the next 25 years. Congratulations Healthy Families!
Join us for a Mayoral Proclamation and kick-off event on Wednesday, August 23 from 4-4:30 p.m. at Myrick Park. The anniversary recognition will last from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.
