You’re invited to a screening of the movie, Canvas.  The movie was made in 2006 and features Joe Pantoliana and Marcia Gay Harden, now starring in the new CBS series, “Code Black”.   The movie is about a mother who has schizophrenia and the impact this has on her family.  Roger Ebert’s review of the movie includes the following: “The portrayal of schizophrenia in the film has been praised by mental health experts as unusually accurate and sympathetic”.

After the screening, we will have a chance to speak with the producer of the movie, Adam Hammel, by Skype!  Adam has a Viroqua connection and will field questions from the screening audience.  He is a D.G.A Director, Writer and Producer with over 20 years of entertainment industry experience spanning Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
