Feedback From Board Members

At yesterday’s Virtual Town Hall Meeting Tita shared comments she received from a number of Board members who praised FCC employees. We thought sharing those observations with all employees would be a great way to spread those positive thoughts even further. Have a look!

“Family & Children’s Center staff—you do make a wonderful difference making it possible for each of your clients move toward a better tomorrow.  Your care, support, teaching, training, imparting resources that help them help themselves is critical in these stressful times.  You are appreciated not only by your board of directors, but also all of society. Keep up the good work and stay safe and healthy and contributing to quality of life”  Sr. Julie Tydrich

“During this unique and extremely challenging COVID 19 pandemic, your work and contributions to those served by Family & Children’s Center is even more vital.  To many, this pandemic causes fear and sadness, as well as financial, physical and mental pressures.  Your support, guidance and intervention help many work through these various challenges; allowing for stronger families and a brighter future for all.  I am so proud of each and every one of you, thank you for sharing your talents to help make our communities a better place.  I wish all of you health and happiness.  I am looking forward to the future, when we can gather together, exchange well wishes and enjoy each other’s company.  All of you are heroes!”  Andrew Guzzo

“Thank you to all the staff of the Family and Children’s Center.  Your work is vital to this community and lifesaving to those you serve, yet often goes unrecognized.  Please know that during this challenging time, as always, we are grateful for your service, and can not thank you enough for your unwavering efforts to help those who need it most.  I am proud to serve you as a member of the Board of Directors, and I look forward to hearing more of the incredible things you are doing.”  Angela Binsfeld

“As a brand new board member I still have a lot to learn about all that the Family & Children’s Center does on a daily basis, but one thing is clear and that is the dedication of the staff to the community members who rely on FCC.  What you do is challenging enough in the best of times but it is even more challenging during the current COVID-19 health crisis.   Thank you for the extra effort you put forth every day.  It takes a small army of people in the community, in multiple organizations, to make this a great place to live, work, raise a family and retire.  The entire community would be so much worse off without you even though most people just don’t know it.   Thank you.” Tom Brock

“It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as Board Chair for FCC. I am currently serving on nine boards and I find the FCC Board to be the most satisfying, gratifying and heart-warming of them all….FCC serves some of the most vulnerable and needy people in our society. These people really need all of you and the care and services that you provide. Not everyone can do the kind of work you do. It takes special people – people that are committed to service, people that are understanding, empathetic, self-sacrificing, hardworking, and so much more. Your work was never easy, but has probably been even more challenging during the COVID pandemic. On behalf of myself and the entire board, I just want to say THANK YOU. Keep up the great work. God Bless all of you!” Jerry Arndt
