Family & Children’s Center is contracting with Vernon County to begin serving local clients in three areas – a 24-hour Help Line, for those who may be experiencing a crisis & are in need of supportive listening, CCS Clients, and Outpatient referrals from the County. This is an exciting opportunity for FCC – we are adding programs we understand well and are also extending our relationship with the primary referral source in the area. Our work will start immediately with adding Help Line support. We are in the process of transitioning existing OP clients, as needed, followed by the addition of CCS clients. We have existing capacity to serve some of these clients right away, and will look to add staff as needed. This has truly been a team effort to make this all occur. I appreciate the openness of our staff and the willingness to push a little bit more so as to accommodate clients in the Vernon County area.
