As we finalize plans for the Employee Retreat on Wednesday, June 17th, please note that the retreat meeting date has been rescheduled to June 17 so that staff have the opportunity to attend the La Crosse Loggers’ 12:05 PM daytime game at Logger Field afterward.
Since we will already be gathered for the meeting that morning, we thought it would be a great opportunity to invite everyone to enjoy the game together following the retreat. Yes, this means YOU!
More details will be shared as plans are finalized, but please keep June 17th on your calendar. We hope many of you will be able to join us.
While much planning remains to be done here is what we know right now:
- We will meet in La Crescent at the Event Center from 8:00 until 11:30
- Plan to arrive a little early and grab something to eat – a light breakfast available
- The content of the meeting is still being worked out so expect more details as the date gets closer
- The agency will provide a grandstand ticket to the game along with a hot dog and soft drink
- There will be a designated section for FCC so we can enjoy each other’s company while taking in the game
- A Loggers game typically lasts 2.5 to 3 hours
We understand that the baseball game may not be for everybody, so if you choose not to attend the game you can either take a half day of vacation or return to work. If you want to return to work please get this approved by your director beforehand. It may not be appropriate for all staff to return to work that day as we will not have clients so please confirm ahead of time.
Again, we will provide more specifics later on but we want to make sure you are planning on the right date, AND planning to have some fun!
