The annual holiday party this year was a good time as usual! It was held after the first of the year in an effort to avoid everybody’s busy schedules, and also the busy venues. This round was a bowling fest – including Bingo as part of game 1 and 8 Pin No Tap for game 2 to help bring up everyone’s scores. And of course, some great socializing for bowlers as well as those who did not bowl.

Kevin Hubbard eyes up a possible strike to impress his wife Leah and Cindy Berg as they watch. Leah Hubbard had never bowled before this. but she did surprisingly well. Not only did she really do well, she won the Most Entertaining Bowler prize which was determined by a couple of the non-bowlers – Jerry Bechtel and Randy Berg.

Jillian Niemyjski came by with her daughter Octavia to help brighten the mood, even though it did not slow down Kayla Barnhardt from her refreshments. It’s always hard to talk smack with a sweet little girl around! Of course, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any…..

Abby Greiten gives some “advice” to Danielle Swedberg who is preparing to bowl. Despite Abby’s efforts, Danielle’s team – including her husband Brian, Ann McDonald and Tita Yutuc – won the Bingo game based on random scores. This one definitely relied more on random scores than skill! Katie Butterfield, who obviously knew what she was doing – was the winner of the Best Bowler prize based on her scores for the two games.
Attendees munched on a variety of snacks while bowling or watching bowling, and then feasted on pizzas. There was plenty of visiting and mixing going on which was certainly part of the plan. And it was definitely a pleasure to get to know the “Plus Ones” who attended. Thanks to everyone – and their guests – for making this a good time!
