If you guessed Liam Bailey, you are right! Liam is the WRIC Coordinator and has been in this role since January 2019. He is currently very excited to be starting a new five-year contract with the three surrounding counties.
When Liam is not hard at work, he loves going on adventures. He has explored LA on foot and bicycle and has spent a lot of time in south Texas and the Mexican border towns. Liam also enjoys watching baseball, spending time with his family and playing with his three dogs (Rufus, Riley & Ringo) and three cats (Hunter, Izzy & Peaches).

Who inspires you?
- Bruce Springsteen, he is a great American who I personally think should be the 46th President of the United States!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- Pizza – as long as I could have different styles and toppings.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
- Chicago – particularly the River North area. There are so many cool things to do and see and it is a great walking town—I don’t enjoy the traffic though!
What animal do you think most closely matches your personality?
- A dog. I like to take life as it comes and keep things simple.
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
- I made a special trip to Los Angeles (actually 2) to try out for “Jeopardy!”… I qualified twice and got on in 1995 after the second try (I did not win, but I put up a good fight until the end).
In elementary school what did you want to be when you grew up?
- A crime lab technician – what we would call a CSI today. I also wanted to be a superhero… so maybe I would be crime lab tech Barry Allen, who is secretly…The Flash!
If you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- I have seen rocker Ian Hunter 16 times, so it would have to be an Ian song! If I had to choose one, I would say either “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” (later remade by Great White) or “All the Way from Memphis”.

What is your secret talent that no one knows about?
- I have won several thousand dollars on the WIZM-AM News Quiz over the past several years.
What do you like on your pizza?
- Pretty much anything, but if I can find a pizza with some really good Italian sausage – that is the best!
What is your favorite sports team?
- I am a native Wisconsinite! Packers, Brewers and Badgers (of course).
