If you guessed Sami Isensee, you are correct! Sami works in our Rochester Youth Night Campus Program and she is the Team Lead. She has been with FCC since April, 2019 and we are so happy to have her be a part of our team! One fun project she is working on is making a poster to track client progress so they can visually see where they are and approximately how long until they graduate. What a cool project, keep up the great work Sami and RYNC staff!

Who inspires you?
- I really look up to my parents. They have worked really hard to be where they are! They have faced hard challenges, have never given up and have always provided for their kids no matter what.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, who would you choose?
- JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!! I have been obsessed with the man since *NSYNC. When I was young I had a pink nightgown with all of them on it and since then I have been to two of his concerts at the X!
Where is your favorite place in the world?
- My favorite place in the world is actually a place I have never been, I love Maine! I think it is so pretty and it is my dream to go there and see the lighthouses. There is something about that state that makes me so happy.
What is part of your daily routine that you look forward to every day?
- I love going to the gym every morning before work. It doesn’t feel like a chore to me, I think it’s fun! I can jam to my music and get a good session in and feel great about myself the rest of the day!
What is one hobby you would love to get into?
- I wish I knew how to style hair! I don’t know how to even french braid, I think people who know how to do cool things to hair are from another planet and I wish I could- I try and fail miserably!
What is your secret talent that no one knows about?
- I can make my voice sound like Stitch from the movie Lilo and Stitch! I discovered it when I was in high school and it kinda just stuck with me.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
- I would be an expert at NASA, particularly an expert in our Solar System. I have been a space geek since grade school. I love learning about “out there” and I could never get bored talking about it. I even have a small tattoo of some planets on my arm.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working?
- I love hanging out with my cat and my boyfriend. Our cat plays fetch so we play that with him and if you throw the ball just right he will jump about three feet in the air to try to catch it, it’s pretty impressive!
Spring, summer, fall or winter: What’s your favorite season and why?
- I love winter! I think it’s beautiful and it brings me a ton of joy. However, by March I am pretty sick of the snow, but I always look forward to the first snowfall!
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would buy?
- I would pay off all my student loans and go back to school for my masters degree. I would pay off my car and also buy a house to settle down in!
Where were you born? What is an interesting fact about your hometown?
- I was born in Burnsville, MN and it is actually the 10th largest populated city in the state!
