We are excited to share with you the next phase of day treatment programming for school age youth in La Crosse. FCC is evolving day treatment to a different model that will make services more accessible to clients that need it. The need for this transition is urgent due to changes in funding and has required a quick response due to state certification renewal being upon us. This is the last week of traditional day treatment, and the new model called Integrated Solutions officially begins the week of September 11th.
Integrated Solutions offers therapy and skills training options that are highly individualized and coordinated by working closely with family members and other service providers. Services are provided in the community or family home whenever possible, though center-based services including groups are available. This high level of coordination and integration provides for intentional implementation of targeted interventions, resulting in short-term interventions with long-term solutions.
We are in the process of transitioning current day treatment clients to services within the model of Integrated Solutions and are accepting new referrals. Existing day treatment staff have been offered opportunities to work in other areas of the agency and may continue to support the transition to Integrated Solutions.
