Create an Acrostic Poem

Don’t let the name or lack of experience scare you away. Acrostics are easy to write because they don’t need to rhyme, and you don’t need to worry about the rhythm of the lines. Each line can be as long or as short as you want it to be.

For example:

Summer

Sunshine and picnics

Under the starry skies

Making sandcastles on the beach

Magical time with your friends and family

Enjoying the outdoors

Relaxing
