COVID-19 Update Thursday, March 19, 2020

We have just been made aware that there may have been potential for an infected visitor at FSB. We quickly responded by discontinuing services in that facility through the weekend. We believe the risk is minimal – if any – and affected staff have been asked to watch for news on the Depot and/or a direct contact from their supervisor.

As you realize, our circumstances require timely decisions and actions, so you should expect that some decisions may seem to be immediate, but our ability to respond with necessary actions really relies on taking quick, definitive steps when we can. We ask for your patience and understanding in this challenging time.

We are seeing creative and marvelous ways people are using the internet and various forms of media to stay connected and support others. This includes celebrities as well as the proverbial guy next door. You can find teachers working with remote teaching capability, local organizations such as LHI including a link to COVID-19 news, or a touring musician offering live guitar lessons. A little Google time can take you to many places! The biggest take away we see, though, is the importance of being nice…it’s amazing to see people finding ways to help each other and hopefully you are able to do the same thing.
