It’s that time of year when the climate is changing and we need to begin our shift from the heating to the cooling cycle.
The GVC facility requires an entire shutdown of the HVAC system and then a cleaning of the system will take place. After the work is completed, Facilities will watch the temperature patterns and turn on the cooling system when the temperatures raise consistently.
All other locations are thermostat controlled, thus quite simple to change the temperature. During this time however, we ask that all staff be mindful of the temperatures as well. We have the opportunity here to remain comfortable while promoting energy conservation and saving the agency money as well.
You will receive a second notice alerting you to the approximate time our cooling season will begin.
