The top prize for 2016’s United Way Employee Giving Campaign was a CEO Swap with Tita. Two winners were chosen to spend half a day with Tita to see what she does on a daily basis and in return she will spend a half of a day with each of them. On Thursday, April 7th, Mark Hecht and Philomena Willems joined Tita for the morning…
Mark Hecht is a Mental Health Practitioner for the Winona Youth ACT program and Hiawatha Hall. He was been with FCC for 14 years! Mark had no problem getting right to work in Tita’s office.
Philomena Willems is a Mental Health Technician for the Community Support Program in Viroqua. She has been with FCC for 25 years! Philo looks right at home at Tita’s desk.
Mark and Philo got right to work with Tita on Thursday morning meeting with Libby Sprier, a long term FCC Board Member, donor and the 2017 Board Chair, to discuss the board’s role at FCC and tackle official business. Next, the group met with Peter Ziegler, FCC’s Facilities Manger, dealing with building issues at GVC and making recommendations for improvements. After some first hand experience with the types of things Tita spends her day dealing with, Mark and Philo spent some time reviewing the President’s Awards nominations and made formal recommendations. To wrap up the morning, 5th floor staff hosted a pot luck for Mark and Philo to give them a better understanding of what it is all those people on 5th floor do all day and send them on their way with full tummy’s! Tita will be out to spend an afternoon with both Mark and Philo soon, stay tuned!
