Recently I received a Speak Out Submission and it contained a really great idea…The idea was related to giving consideration to adding a Self Care class for our consumers in CSP. The concept suggested providing things like haircuts to our consumers and the anonymous individual indicated they were happy to volunteer their time to find a way to make this happen. I, too, think this idea is great and we should consider it in Minnesota as well. To that end, I have asked both Mary Jacobsen and Sarah Thompson, the Directors of Wisconsin and Minnesota Programs and Services respectively to convene an opportunity to gather and discuss this idea’s merits.
