Agency Committees Starting Up

Welcome 2021!
The new year brings with it many opportunities for your consideration. If you are looking for a way to become more involved at Family & Children’s Center, please consider joining one of these three committees that are being resurrected in the new year.
The Culture Club- headed by Rich Petro
Purpose: Identify what we can each do – employees and the agency – to make FCC a great place to work: the ability to do important work, an opportunity to learn and grow, having enjoyable working relationships, recognition for good work and being revered in our communities. Ultimately, this committee will encourage and support efforts to reach and maintain these objectives.
Diversity Committee- headed by Leah Morken
Purpose: The purpose of the diversity committee is to facilitate discussions about diversity by building awareness and understanding, uniting staff, and enhancing the inclusivity of all within the organization and communities we serve.
Trauma Informed Committee- Headed by Mary Jacobson
Purpose: The purpose of this committee is to understand, develop and promote the role of Trauma Informed practices as they relate to FCC.
If interested, please reach out to the head of that committee. Specific details like the dates and times of meetings will come out soon, and participation can be virtual so no matter where you are you can be involved!
