A Speak Out was submitted about salary increases for 2018. And if one person has a question related to salary, it’s likely others will as well, therefore I wanted to get this announcement out on the Depot.
How does the process work? In the past years, this has been addressed formally in July with effective dates — the beginning of August. Specifically, last year the 2% salary increase that was given, became effective on the payroll of July 23, 2017.
This year the timing will remain the same. The Senior Leadership Team along with our Board of Directors will explore our finances to determine our ability to give well deserved raises. We have begun discussions and will formally make a decision in July.
Know that I truly believe that our staff are our greatest asset and we could not provide care and services to our clients without each and every one of you. It’s together that we will be successful, so I continue to ask for your support and your efforts to run each of FCC’s programs at capacity. I also ask each of you to continue to manage all expenses both large and small. Without you, we can’t achieve our mission to strengthen families, adults and children, and with you, we will grow stronger every day.
