Winona BK5K- Join FCC in the FUN!

Calling all runners and walkers! Come join FCC staff during the 22nd annual ‘BK5K’ June 18th in Winona.

FCC is fortunate to be one of the recipients of a grant from this event.  We would love to have more team members join in the fun as a team-building exercise.  If there is enough interest, we may even get FCC t-shirts to wear during the event.

The 5K race starts Lake Park at 8 a.m. on June 18th.  Adults are $20, with those 13-17 costing only $10. Anyone 12 and younger can take part for free in a 5k or 1k.

Please let Ellen Hongerholt know by June 1st if you would like to participate. You can reach her at ehongerholt@fccnetwork.org.

Register for the race HERE.

The Annually held BK 5K, 5 kilometer road race and walk, is contested to honor Bob Kierlin, founder of Fastenal Company and lifelong supporter of youth programs. This event is intended to provide a competitive road race for athletes of all abilities who desire to challenge themselves to pursue their best effort. All proceeds from the event will go to various qualified youth organizations and programs who have demonstrated financial need. Funding grants will be evaluated for merit and dispersed by the BK 5K Youth Fund Award Committees in partnership with the Winona Community Foundation.
