Workshop DescriptionEmotional Intelligence is all about how we handle our emotions and the emotions of those we interact with daily. When we meet challenges, when we hear about others’ traumatic experiences, or when a crisis occurs, managing emotional reactions can become taxing, impacting our ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions. These skills are vital for all professionals and can be especially beneficial for those in the helping professions. Learn the basics of Emotional Intelligence and how to harness their power with tools to develop your EQ, build resilience, and better manage the stress you encounter in interactions with colleagues or clients.

Learning ObjectivesAttendees will be able to…

  • Gain familiarity with the basics of Emotional Intelligence
  • Build skills and tools for handling the “hijacked brain”
  • Self-assess professional quality of life
  • Leave with tips for ongoing self-care and stress management
