Full -Time or Part-Time RN needed at an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility in Winona, MN. This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced RN to use his or her skills in a residential treatment facility for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The work will primarily involve, psychiatry coordination, client medication education, medication administration (including injections) and monitoring, general health assessments and advising case management staff.
The RN will be a part of the facilities treatment team and work collaboratively with the team to develop client treatment goals, review referrals, help with the intake and discharge process and client care coordination.
Applicants must have a current MN RN license in good standing, but a 4-year degree is not required.
SENIOR MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER needed full time at Hiawatha Hall Adult Intensive Residential Facility at Family & Children’s Center in Winona to provide overall care to adults with sub-acute mental health symptoms.
As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing case management to adult residents with mental health needs.
What are the primary responsibilities of this Mental Health Rehab Worker position?
- Case management (including but not limited to: functional assessments, treatment plans, intake and discharge, coordination with outside stakeholders etc.),
- Providing daily client care to adult residents with mental health needs (including providing structure and daily organization to clients, medication management, manage client emotional and behavioral issues, etc.)
- New client intake
- General team member duties
Requirements:
- At least two years’ experience working with adults with mental illness is preferred.
- Residential experience is helpful.
- Must be qualified as a MN Mental Health Practitioner
